Members of the Social Action Committee of the Unitarian Universalist Church of Reading (UUCR) organized a second offering last fall and a food drive this April for Gathering Change, Inc. (GCI).  These efforts were to raise money and collect nonperishable items for the Reading Food Pantry.  GCI raises funds in local communities and then donates the money to neighborhood food pantries and social programs.  Pictured are Anne Mark and Rebecca Griffin, members of the UUCR Social Action Committee.  Anne is holding a box of donated food; Rebecca holds a certificate of Appreciation from Gathering Change, Inc. to UUCR to recognize UUCR's contribution in raising hunger awareness in the community.  For more information about GCI see www.gatheringchangeinc.org.
