The Compassionate Friends, which supports families grieving the loss of a child, seeks volunteers to help reach out to the newly bereaved. Volunteers can assist the chapter by helping at the monthly meetings, assist with the planning of special events, contribute written material to the monthly newsletter, and help with phone calls to the newly bereaved. Chapter meetings are held the first Monday of every month at 7:30 p.m. at the Aldersgate United Methodist Church.
