An unusual hearing to consider the dangerousness of a local dog has been scheduled for next week.
The Animal Control Appeals Committee of the Town of Reading will hold a public hearing on March 1 in the Town Hall’s Berger Room starting at 7:30 p.m., following an incident earlier this month in which a resident was bitten by the dog on Willard Road. The victim did not require ambulance transport.
Interested parties may appear in person, submit their comments in writing or email townmanager@ci.reading.ma.us.
The Animal Control Appeals Committee are Susan Giacalone, Tina Ohlson, and John Miles.
