Denise Bishop, of North Reading, recently received three scholarship awards at Salem State University: the Agnes and Joseph Carnevale Scholarship, the Marilyn and Jacob Segal Endowment Scholarship and the Genevieve Hope Blaney Scholarship.

The Agnes and Joseph Carnevale Scholarship and the Marilyn and Jacob Segal Endowment Scholarship are awarded to single mothers with strong academic achievement. The Genevieve Hope Blaney Scholarship is intended for nursing majors interning at the North Shore Medical Center’s Salem Hospital in clinical.
