Young Women’s League of Reading (YWLR) Raises close to $10,000
This past Saturday night, hundreds attended the Young Women’s League of Reading Annual Dinner Dance. The event raised nearly $10,000, all of which will go directly to support Reading charities. Funds are disbursed annually and are determined by what current members feel are the Town’s most pressing needs.
Special thanks go to Honda Gallery of Reading, YWLR Member Attorney Sheilah Griffin Reichardt, and Reading Realtor Sumi Sinnatamby for sponsoring two $500 cash raffles. We would also like to thank the nearly 100 business owners and organizations who made this event possible.
“We couldn’t have reached this level of success if not for the generosity of our local business community, who are so committed to making Reading a great place to live and work,” said YWLR President Jodi Cirrone. “We would like to extend our sincere thanks to everyone in and around Reading whose support allowed us to put on such a wonderful event.”
