Thunderstorms on the Fourth of July caused the Bring Back the Fourth Committee to cancel the fireworks, although the daytime activites were still a hit with residents.

According to Bring Back the Fourth Committee Chairman Fred Chalmers, the 4th of July fireworks will not be held Saturday. The original rain date was Saturday, but the fireworks are postponed until further notice.

The Bring Back the Fourth Committee will meet next week to determine when the fireworks will happen.
