Here are the blogging highlights from this week:

• Our food blogger Julia Whitney Robarts shared a recipe for Bacon Apricot Zingers. Julia said, "On a trip to Michigan back in May, I discovered a three-part flavor blast that I knew I was going to have to re-create. Bacon, apricots and jalapeno --  savory, sweet and a little bit of spice."
• Julia also shared a recipe for Muggle-Made Waldorf Salad. Julia said, "Waldorf is one of my favorite summer salads. In this recipe, the Gala apples were just right -- sweet and crispy to balance out the tang of yogurt and lemon.  The salad was just as good the next day as well."
