Deaf Man Hit by Train in Reading
A 56-year-old man and his dog were hit by a train Thursday.
At 7:13 a.m. Thursday, a resident reported that a 56-year-old deaf man was hit by a train while waiting at the station. According to Reading Police, the man was transported to the hospital.
The man was waiting with his dog for a commuter rail train when the train hit him. He did not hear the bells, and was facing the opposite direction of the warning lights, police said. An officer believed that the dog was hit as well, but he was unsure as the dog ran up Haven Street. The dark colored, medium sized dog is still missing.
The man was transported to the hospital, police said.

No one has reported to Reading Police that the dog has been found. If you know that the dog has been found, please let them and us know. That would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

This is Joseph S. The most significant is that I am concerned that you are alive than others. WOW, I am really terrified whether I was in your position. I am glad that you just got bad bruises. I desire that I can appear to take care of you and keep you a company because you are my true friend, Jim!!

The man and the dog are fine. I went to the Reading Animal Clinic with my cat on Friday morning and was told that both owner and dog are fine. WHEW!!!
