Ipswich River Park will be filled with arts, crafts and more on May 19. Stop by between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. to browse through the local handmade arts and crafts, enjoy the entertainment and eat barbecue food.

There will be a variety of products available from a minimum of 57 different crafters. You can expect to find painted wooden items, hair accesories, flameless candles, stained glass, jewelry, handbags, dog and cat items, t-shirts, sewn items, paper goods and more.

According to the Parks and Recreation Department there will be a lot of entertainment including a performance from a local dance school, fingerprinting for children and henna tattooing.

"It's a great time every year, lots of people come out and enjoy the day," President of the Friends of North Reading Parks and Recreation Sheila Sturdevant said. "It grows a little bit each year."

The proceeds from the event benefit Ipswich River Park. The rain date is May 20.
