What do people want to see covered at the upcoming Town Meetings and why will you be attending?

I wish someone would bring up the subject of hunting in Bear Meadow again. It is ridiculous to allow hunting in a densely-populated town. I don't feel safe walking my dog there, and it lasts for one-quarter of the year. If the deer population gets too large, the town could hire "professional" hunters for a week or two like some towns already do to thin the herd, and publish when they are going to be there. Enough with these weekend cowboys (or I guess in this case I should say Indians)!

Oh, boy, I love multiple choice, lol! John, I object to hunting in any suburban town. That being said, there's still the problem of the herd becoming out of control; therefore,
the idea of a one or two week period (instead of three months!) where hunters who know what they're doing (I've seen many who don't) come in to solve that problem makes sense to me. I would bet one could find many knowledgeable hunters at the Reading Rifle Range. Hunting is a fine sport---I've enjoyed many a venison dinner courtesy of Reading deer--just not "unmanaged" in a suburban town.

As I posted previously, Reading Town Meeting is held at the Reading Memorial High School Performing Arts Center, Oakland Road. Meetings start at 7:30, or as soon after that time as the check-in tellers can inform the Moderator that a quorum is present.
