Five Things to Do This Weekend

New Orleans night, an Easter Bunny breakfast and The Foreigner are on tap this weekend.

 

Looking for something to do this weekend? Here are some ideas:

NEW ORLEANS NIGHT
Where/when: Reading Memorial High School, Friday at 7 p.m. 
Why go: Enjoy the musical production of “A Bit of New Orleans ” from 7 to 8 p.m. on “Bourbon Street.” The event will feature a variety of music, face painting, street performers, complimentary light refreshments, and more. From 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center enjoy a Jazz Combo, Stage Band, Jazz Ensemble, Concert Band. The cost is $10 for adults and $8 for students.

EASTER BUNNY BREAKFAST
Where/when: North Reading Masonic Lodge, Sunday at 8 a.m.
Why go: Come have breakfast with the Easter Bunny! Omelets and eggs any style are $5. Photos with the Easter Bunny cost $10.

THE FOREIGNER
Where/when: Quannapowitt Players, Friday at 8 p.m. or Sunday at 2 p.m.

PHOTO WALK
Where/when: Flint Memorial Library, Saturday at 10 a.m.  
Why go: Meet at the library for a Photo Walk in the Historic District. If you'd like to contribute an image please call Juid Segur at 978-664-4942.

SHOP LOCALLY
Where/when: AinesChocolate TruffleEverything But the DogGoodheart'sHitching PostOlde Redding ButcherReading Trophy and Shirt, Sammy Jo's, Sense of Wonder, Simms JewelersThe Wine Shop, Saturday all day

Why go: Support the Friends of Reading Public Library by shopping in one of these local retail establishments and mention the Friends of Reading Public Library and a percent of that sale will be donated to them.
