Five Things to Do This Weekend

A BBQ, zumba fitness, and live music are all on tap this weekend.

 

Looking for something to do over the next few days? Here are just five activities to keep you busy:

3rd ANNUAL BBQ

Where/When: The gazebo at Ipswich River Park, Saturday from noon to 3 p.m.

Why go: Raise awareness for Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy, eat BBQ food, and socialize. For more information, visit http://kristincallahan.org/.

Cost: $30 

LIVE MUSIC AT GREAT AMERICAN TAVERN

Where/When: Great American Tavern, Saturday at 8:45 p.m.

Why go: Listen to "Acme Music," eat tavern food, and socialize with friends.

Cost: Free to enter. Menu items vary.

GO BOWLING

Where/When: Candlewood Lanes, 35 Main St. Friday, Saturday or Sunday from noon to 6:15 p.m.

Why go: Have fun bowling and get some exercise.

Cost: $10 for 30 minutes per lane.

ZUMBA CLASS

Where/When: Health Time Fitness, 197 Main St. Sunday from 8 to 9 a.m.

Why go: Get some exercise and have fun.

Cost: Free for newcomers, $10 for club members, and $12 for drop-ins.

MEDITATION RETREAT

Where/When: 239 Woburn St, Reading, Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon.

Why go: Relax, meditate, and eat lunch.

Cost: Free.
