Five Things to Do This Weekend

A family fun day, play and live music are on tap this weekend.

 

Looking for something to do this weekend? Here are some ideas:

NORTH READING FAMILY FUN DAY (This event was cancelled due to rain in the forecast)

Where/when: Ipswich River Park, Saturday, 11 a.m.
Why go: The event will be near the gazebo and will feature free food, inflatable rides, pony rides, face painting and more. 

BAKE SALE TO BENEFIT THE JIMMY FUND

Where/when: Coolidge Middle School Park, Sunday 12 p.m.
Why go: Visit the bake sale to buy some sweets, and all proceeeds will benefit the Jimmy Fund. The booth is sponsored by Cub Scout Pack 728.

THE DIARY OF ANNE FRANK

Where/when: Quannapowitt Players, Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m.  
Why go: Watch the Quannapowitt Players perform The Diary of Anne Frank. Tickets are $18.

ADULT RUNNING INTEREST GROUP

Where/when: Memorial Park, Saturday at 7 a.m.  
Why go: Join other residents for a recreational four to five mile run. 

LIVE MUSIC 

Where/when: Great American Tavern, Saturday at 9 p.m.
Why go: Enjoy dinner and listen to the band Cry Uncle in the lounge.
