Five Things to Do This Weekend

A neighborhood cleanup and wine tasting are on tap this weekend.

 

Looking for something to do this weekend? Here are some ideas:

NORTH READING NEIGHBORHOOD CLEANUP
Where/when: Clarke Park, Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon
Why go: Clean up the area and enjoy a party in the park afterward.

BURBANK YMCA INDOOR TRIATHALON
Where/when: Burbank YMCA, Sunday at 7:30 a.m.
Why go: All participants will do a 800 yard pool swim (32 lengths/16 laps), 12.5 miles stationary bike ride and a 3 mile treadmill run. Participants can check in between 7:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. on April 15 and check in with the pool staff to receive their stat card.  

ANNUAL SPRING WINE TASTING
Where/when: Busa Wine & Spirits, Saturday at 3 p.m.
Why go: Enjoy a free wine tasting featuring dozens of wines, premium spirits and craft beers.

ADULT RUNNING INTEREST GROUP
Where/when: Memorial Park, Saturday at 7 a.m.  
Why go: Join other residents for a recreational four to five mile run. 

READING BASEBALL
Where/when: Reading Memorial High School, Friday at 3:45 p.m.  
Why go: Cheer on the Varsity baseball team while they play Burlington.

Austin Prep's spring musical, Urinetown, will play at 7 pm Saturday and 2 pm Sunday at 101 Willow Street in Reading. Admission is free and the show is appropriate for all ages.
