Five Things to Do This Weekend

Live music, scavenger hunt and yoga class are all on tap this weekend.

 

Looking for something to do this weekend? Here are some ideas:

READING RECREATION CONCERT ON THE COMMON

Where/when: Reading Town Hall, Sunday at 6:30 p.m.
Why go: Enjoy live music by Talk To The Hand, a female a cappella quartet. They sing old and new pop, rock and country hits.

LIVE MUSIC

Where/when: Great American Tavern, Saturday at 9 p.m. 
Why go: Enjoy dinner and live music by The Groove Cats'.

MODERN VINYASA YOGA WITH SANDY

Where/when: AMT Soul Studio Massage & Yoga, Friday at 9 a.m. 
Why go: Enjoy a vigorous yoga class to get in shape. 

SCAVENGER HUNT

Where/when: Lake Quannapowitt, Wakefield, Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.   
Why go: Local nonprofit group Gathering Change, Inc. is having a scavenger hunt. The hunters’ fee is $20 and participants can assemble their own team of four or they can arrive and join a team. Meet near the gazebo at 9:30 to register.  If you participate, the North Reading or Reading Food Pantry could benefit! Call (617) 548-5357 for more information.

ADULT RUNNING INTEREST GROUP

Where/when: Memorial Park, Saturday at 7 a.m.  
Why go: 
Join other residents for a recreational four to five mile run.
