Why go: The event will feature a silent auction, raffles, appetizers and variety of wines and lagers.

Where/when: Grumpy Doyle's, Friday at 9 p.m.

NEW TO YOU CONSIGNMENT SALE

SPIN-A-THON
Where/when: Burbank YMCA, Saturday at 2 p.m.
Why go: Join the Burbank YMCA for a fun non-competitive group event held in the Burbank YMCA Gymnasium. The cost is $25. No experience necessary. If you can ride a bike you can spin. Proceeds go towards the Burbank YMCA 2012 Annual Fund which supports community members in need.
