Five Things to Do This Weekend

Girls basketball state final and Sears fundraiser are on tap this weekend.

 

Looking for something to do this weekend? Here are some ideas:

GIRLS BASKETBALL FINALS
Where/when: DCU Center, Worcester, Saturday at 2:15 p.m.
Why go: Cheer on the Lady Rockets while they play Tyngsboro for the state title.

SEARS FUNDRAISER
Where/when: Sears, Sunday after 2 p.m.
Why go: Buy a raffle ticket for a Kenmore Gas Grille and enjoy 15 percent off everything in the North Reading store after 6 p.m.

ADULT RUNNING INTEREST GROUP
Where/when: Memorial Park, Saturday at 7:00 a.m. 
Why go: Enjoy a recreational four to five mile run. Arrive a few minutes before 7 a.m. The course will be set that morning around the neighborhoods and/or the Lake in Wakefield. The pace is easy to moderate. 

ZUMBA
Where/when: Health Time Fitness, Sunday at 8:00 a.m. 
Why go: Get fit and have fun at the same time.

SENSORY STORY TIME
Where/when: Reading Public Library, Saturday at 10:00 a.m.  
Why go: This story time is for two to five-year-olds with autism spectrum disorders, sensory integration issues, other developmental disabilities, and their typically developing peers.
