1. The weather. The temperature will reach 54 degrees in the afternoon and drop to 32 in the evening. Expect partly cloudy skies.
2. Buy Local. The Spring Buy Local Weekend starts today. Contribute to your local economy and take advantage of sales by shopping in Reading and North Reading.
3. Bicycle Recycling. Bring your out-grown or underused bicycle for recycling starting at 11 a.m. to the Reading Municipal Light Department. Your bike will be recycled and adopted, and the first 50 donors will get coupons and prizes from REI. Donors will receive a certificate for early admittance to the give away on Saturday, April 28 at noon. Doors will open to the public at 12:30.
4. North Reading Lacrosse. The boys lacrosse team will play Masco at North Reading High School. The game starts at 3:15 p.m.
5. Reading Tennis. The girls tennis team will play Lexington at Reading Memorial High School. The game starts at 3:30 p.m.
