Five Things to Know Today: Aug. 14

Your guide to Reading and North Reading today.

 

Today is Tuesday, Aug. 14. Here are five things you need to know today:

1. Sunshine days. The temperature will reach 88 degrees in the afternoon and drop to 68 in the evening. Expect sunny skies.

2. North Reading Secondary School Building Committee. The Secondary School Building Committee will meet at North Reading High School at 6:30 p.m. Review design development estimate and review design development value engineering solutions are both items on the agenda.

3. Computer class. Stop by the Reading Senior Center at 9 a.m. for a computer class. The class is free.

4. Dream Catchers. Make Dream Catchers at the Flint Memorial Library at 10 a.m. This activity is for children ages six and up.
