Merry Christmas! Today is Monday, Dec. 24. Here are five things you need to know today:

1. The weather. Today will be mostly cloudy with a high near 32, tonight a low around 22. Expect partly cloudy skies.

2. Last minute gifts. Did you finish your holiday shopping yet? Here are some last minute gift ideas.

3. Christmas services. Here is a list of some local Christmas services.

4. Christmas Eve Brunch. Stop by the Reading Senior Center at 10 a.m. for brunch. A cheese omelet with cream sauce will be served with sausage links, french toast sticks and syrup. A cinnamon coffee cake will be served for dessert. The suggested donation for those over 60 is $2.00 and for those under 60 is $3.50.  Reservations are required, call (781) 942-6794.
