Five Things to Know Today: Jan. 16

Your guide to Reading and North Reading today.

Today is Wednesday, Jan. 16. Here are five things you need to know today:

1. The weather. Expect mostly sunny skies today with a high near 39, tonight a low around 28.

2. North Reading Capital Improvement Planning Committee. The Capital Improvement Planning Committee will meet at North Reading Town Hall at 4 p.m. Review capital requests and discussion are both on the agenda.

3. Children's Drop-in Craft. Stop by the Flint Memorial Library at 3 p.m. for a drop-in craft and make Valentines cards and decorations.

4. Klickity Klack Group. Knit or crochet at the Reading Senior Center at 9:30 a.m. You are welcome whether you are a beginner or an expert.

5. Newsletter. Do you get our newsletter? Sign up and you'll receive the latest news in your inbox for free.

Best comment!

Patch, I think we can all get the real weather from other sources. Best you concentrate on important things, like cupcakes.
