Five Things to Know Today: Jan. 23

Your guide to Reading and North Reading today.

 

Today is Wednesday, Jan. 23. Here are five things you need to know today:

1. The weather. Expect partly cloudy skies today with a high near 16, tonight a low around 5.  

2. North Reading Land Utilization Committee. The land utilization committee will meet at North Reading Town Hall at 7:30 p.m. Fundraising for the craft fair and 2013 goals are both items on the agenda.

3. Reading Conservation Commission. The conservation commission will meet at Reading Town Hall at 7 p.m. An 87 Walkers Brook Drive discussion and Eagle Scout Project approval are both items on the agenda.

4. Happiest baby on the block. Stop by the Reading Public Library at 6 p.m. for a free parenting workshop.
