Five Things to Know Today: July 5

Your guide to Reading and North Reading today.

Today is Thursday, July 5. Here are five things you need to know today:

1. The weather. The temperature will reach 85 degrees today and drop to 66 in the evening. Expect partly cloudy skies.

2. North Reading Fireworks. The fireworks were canceled last night due to the weather. The Bring Back the Fourth Committee is trying to figure out a rain date. Check in with us for details.

3. Family movie night. Stop by the Flint Memorial Library at 6:30 p.m. for a family movie night in the Activity Room.

4. Creative Arts. Openings are still available for those three-years-old and up looking to explore their creativity this summer at Creative Arts. Check out their website for details.

5. Motion to Music. Take a total body workout class with aerobics, weight training and stretching at the Reading Senior Center at 9 a.m. The class costs $15 per month or $3 per session.
