Five Things to Know Today: Oct. 2

Your guide to Reading and North Reading today.

 

Today is Tuesday, Oct. 2. Here are five things you need to know today:

1. The weather. The temperature will reach 73 degrees in the afternoon and drop to 55 in the evening. Expect scattered showers.

2. North Reading Secondary School Building Committee. The SSBC will meet at North Reading High School at 4:30 p.m. An OPM update and design update are both items on the agenda.

3. Reading Selectmen. The selectmen will meet at Reading Town Hall at 7 p.m. Town Manager’s/Assistant Town Manager’s Report and Review Process of Town Manager Search are both items on the agenda.

4. Toddler storytime. Stop by the Flint Memorial Library at 9:30 a.m. for toddler storytime

5. Reading RHC. The Reading RHC will meet at Reading Town Hall at 7:30 p.m.
