Five Things to Know Today: Sept. 10

Your guide to Reading and North Reading today.

 

Today is Monday, Sept. 10. Here are five things you need to know today:

1. The weather. The temperature will reach 76 degrees in the afternoon and drop to 58 in the evening. There is a chance for rain throughout the day.

2. Reading CPDC. The CPDC will meet at Reading Town Hall at 7:30 p.m. A Site Plan Review Public Hearing for Bunratty Tavern and Medical Marijuana By-Law are two items on the agenda.

3. North Reading School Committee. The School Committee will meet at North Reading Middle School at 7 p.m. An MSBA/SSBC update and Little School Retention Wall update are two items on the agenda.

4. Drop-in Storytime. The Reading Public Library is offering a drop-in storytime at 9:30 a.m. Stop by with children 2 to 4-years-old for stories, songs and a visit with library mascot Cocoa Moose. 

 5. North Reading Community Chorale. Do you love to sing? Stop by the Aldersgate United Methodist Church for a community chorale rehearsal at 7 p.m.
