Five Things to Know Today: Sept. 19

Your guide to Reading and North Reading today.

 

Today is Wednesday, Sept. 19. Here are five things you need to know today:

1. The weather. The temperature will reach 70 degrees in the afternoon and drop to 45 in the evening. There is a chance of showers.

2. Reading EDC. The EDC will meet at Reading Town Hall at 7 p.m. Selection of Best Retail Visioning Applicants and an Economic Development Activity Update are both items on the agenda.

3. North Reading Finance Committee. The Finance Committee will meet at North Reading Town Hall at 7 p.m. Fall Town Meeting Discussion and the Capital Plan are two items on the agenda.

4. Girl Scout registration. Reading girl scouts can register at Camp Rice Moody from 1 to 3 or 6 to 8 p.m. Contact Jen Delaney at jandjdelaney@verizon.net for more information. 

5. Key chain craft. Stop by the Flint Memorial Library for a drop-in key chain craft session at 3 p.m.
