Five Things to Know Today: Sept. 26

Your guide to Reading and North Reading today.

Today is Wednesday, Sept. 26. Here are five things you need to know today:

1. The weather. The temperature will reach 68 degrees in the afternoon and drop to 48 in the evening. Expect some rain throughout the day.

2. Reading Conservation Commission. The Conservation Commission will meet at Reading Town Hall at 7 p.m. A bylaw change discussion is on the agenda.

3. North Reading Land Utilization Committee. The LUC will meet at North Reading Town Hall at 7:30 p.m. Walking trails and River Wood are two items on the agenda.

4. Tarot, the art of interpretation. Stop by the Natural Food Exchange at 7 p.m. for a Tarot reading. Call 781-944-8495 to reserve your spot.

5. Free coffee. Don't forget that McDonald’s is celebrating National Coffee Day by providing free coffee for all guests from until September 29. Enjoy a free, small Newman’s Own Organic coffee, a blend only available at McDonald’s restaurants in this region
