Today is Thursday, April 5. Here are five things you need to know today:
1. The weather. Expect sunny skies today with a high of 50 degrees. The temperature will drop to 30 overnight.
2. Reading Vs. North Reading. The North Reading Varsity softball team will play Reading at the E. Ethel Little Elementary School. The game starts at 3:45 p.m.
3. NRMS Spectrum. North Reading Middle School released the April edition of their newspaper. Take a look at the new issue which features the new school building, a Holocaust survivor that recently visited the middle school, an advice column and student artwork.
4. Motion to Music. Stop by the Reading Senior Center for a total body workout at 9 a.m. The class costs $15 per month or $3 per session.
5. Reading Vs. Swampscott. The Reading Varsity Tennis team will play Swampscott at Reading Memorial High School. The game starts at 3:30 p.m.
