Those cannot possibly be the photos of a 4400 sq foot home costing close to a million dollars! At least I hope not! They look more like a 1500 sq foot cape (not colonial) costing about $450K or so.

Zillow shows a far grander home at this address (and neither Zillow nor several other realty sites show this propoerty as actully being listed for sale):

This got me curious, so I went to the Century 21 Sexton realtor site, but amongst the 67 listings for Reading, there does not appear to be any pictures of homes for sale in Reading that are either at or look like Zillow picture for 40 Zachary Lane or the pink cape for which you have photos....nor any others with this $940K pricetag.

Smoke damage from fireplace, small bedrooms, no yardspace and you want $940,000.00 get REAL realtors. For that amount of $$ I can knock down existing home and rebuild for cheaper. Even better for that price I can get a spacious on on Little Meadow Way in town. TY for the giggle.

However, it may not be currently listed. I found the MLS number, but it may have expired. Could not verify it on the web. So, it was for sale sometime, but may not be now. So much for confusion........

Thanks, Fred. Typing that MLS# into realtor.com produced no results. This is the first time I've bothered to ever double check any of the real estate listings posted here (because of the gross discrepancy in description vs pics). Makes me wonder about how accurate the other listings are...and hopefully the owners of 40 Zachary Lane in Reading are not having strangers traipsing about their yard because they think the property is for sale...
