The following is a look at some of the calls handled by the North Reading Police Department from Monday through Thursday. The information is open to the public.

Monday, Jan. 14

• At 9:52 a.m., a caller reported an infant left alone in a vehicle in the Walmart parking lot. Police stopped the vehicle on Lowell Road and the infant looked okay. The officer will report the incident to DCF.
• At 1 p.m., a caller reported being the victim of identity theft.
• At 8:13 p.m., a loss prevention officer from Walmart reported that a male stole two computers.

Tuesday, Jan. 15

• At 1:39 p.m., a Main Street resident reported that mail was being stolen from her mailbox.

Wednesday, Jan. 16

• At 8:19 a.m., a caller reported that a car hit a pole on Mount Vernon Street. The car was towed from the scene.
• At 11:58 p.m., a caller reported kids disturbing the peace by playing ball at Ipswich River Park. Police spoke to the kids and sent them on their way.

Thursday, Jan. 17

• At 3:21 p.m., a caller reported that her vehicle was hit on Main Street, but the other driver did not stop.
• At 8:11 p.m., a Junction Road resident reported unwanted guests and requested assistance from an officer.
• At 9:53 p.m., an Oscars Way resident reported an unoccupied vehicle parked on her road for hours. Police found that the owner of the vehicle was visiting a friend on Oscars Way.
