Letter: Owner of Sammy Jo’s Bakery Sells Business

Owner of Sammy Jo’s Bakery Melinda Nimblett thanks the community for their support.

The following was submitted by Melinda Nimblett:

Thank you to all the wonderful people who had supported me for the past year and half. Selling the business [Sammy Jo's Bakery] is a bitter sweet decision, but it is the best decision for me and my family.

I’ve had a chance to connect with so many wonderful people. A big thank you to Board of Health; I had such a positive working experience with Larry and Joan. Irene Collins and the Reading North Reading Chamber of Commerce were such a tremendous marketing resource and it was an honor to be on the Buy Local Task Force. I will always be grateful for the relationships which developed from owning a local business. I wish the new owners of Cookies-n-Cream the best of luck and know that the customers who had supported me will continue to support them.
