I would like to nominate, Sarah Lentz! Ms.Lentz is a ki dergartwn teacher at Barrows Elementsry School in Resding. She makes a difference everyday with her upbeat personality, dedication and love for each and every one of her students! She takes the time to know each child and their families. She has instilled confidence into once painfully shy son. She has taught him so much but the best thing she has given him is a love for learning. Each and every parent and student in her class adores her. Words can not express the difference she has made in the life of my son, our family and every other child and parent she encounters

I also would like to nominate Sarah Lentz to be the Patch's Person of the Year. Sarah is compassionate, kind and has a wonderful sense of humor that makes being in her classroom so much fun. She truly is dedicated to each and everyone of her students by helping them to grow and learn in an excellent environment. I am also amazed at how well all of my sons mastered reading in her classroom. My youngest who is currently in her morning class has also gained so much confidence in himself from having her as a teacher. On a more personal note, our family suffered a painful loss four years ago, and Sarah was there to lend support and encouragement for our little family. I will always be grateful for her love and compassion toward my sons. She will make an excellent Person of the Year.
