Police Log: Resident Reports Having Tires Slashed

The following information was supplied by the Reading police department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.
12:22 a.m.—A female Pleasant Street resident walked into the Reading Police Department to report that her tires had been slashed. Officers investigated and determined the air had been let out of the tires. The woman said she would call if she found any further damage.
10:12 a.m.—Police received a call from a Avalon Road resident who observed two females in an SUV taking packages from the neighbors front door. The reporting party called back to inform police that, after speaking with the neighbor, the individuals may have been from the high school, which was conducting a holiday food drive.
11:30 a.m.—Police responded to an accident at West and South Streets involving two motor vehicles. No injuries were reported.
5:33 p.m.—Wakefield Police alerted the Reading PD to be on the lookout for an erratically operated vehicle in the vicinity of North Avenue. Police were unable to locate the vehicle in question.
6:18 p.m.—Police received a report of an erratically operated vehicle near Main and Franklin Streets. The area was checked, but the vehicle in question could not be located. The North Reading PD was notified.
10:45 p.m.—A call was received reporting a loud house party on Ashley Place. An officer investigated and determined that the party was just a few adults and there did not appear to be an issue.
11:07 p.m.—Police received a report of a suspicious vehicle at RMHS. After looking into the matter, officers determined the party in question was waiting for a friend.
11:40 p.m.—The North Reading PD reported an erratically operated Dodge Neon heading south on Rt. 28. Police conducted a search of the area, but were unable to locate the offending vehicle.
