Police Log: Thief Steals Resident's Engagement and Wedding Rings

6:48 a.m. An anonymous caller reported that someone left a bicycle overnight in the Laurel Hill Cemetery.

10:05 a.m. A Grove Street resident reported someone took out a cable account in Oklahoma in the resident’s name.

11:06 a.m. A Wood End Lane resident turned in two revolvers and ammunition for disposal.

1:40 p.m. A resident brought a license plate into the station after finding it at the Cumberland Farms on Salem Street. Police called the plate’s owner twice, then left notice at her home.

1:45 p.m. An officer issued a citation to John Dilorenzo, 31, of East Boston charging him with driving under a suspended license.

2:13 p.m. Police received notice of a no trespassing order between two Reading residents.

3:30 p.m. An officer issued a citation to Linda Phillips, 44, of Lynn charging her with driving under a suspended license.

4:19 p.m. A West Hill Circle resident reported that someone stole both her wedding and engagement rings from her home while she was away for a week.

5:11 p.m. An officer responded to a two-vehicle collision between a Malden driver and a Somers, Conn. Driver near the Shell gas station on Walkers Brook Drive.

8:44 p.m. A caller reported seeing a bicyclist wearing dark clothing and riding south on Main Street. An officer located the bicyclist, who agreed to stay on the sidewalk.

10:21 p.m. A caller reported that she was concerned for a Reading resident who ceased responding while the two were talking on the phone. The officer found that the resident had fallen asleep during the conversation.

11:19 p.m. A caller complained of a loud party on Fairchild Drive. An officer checked the party and found no loud music, no outdoor activity and no unsupervised youths.
