POLL: New Year's Eve Restaurant Hours

Do you think restaurant hours should be extended on New Year's Eve?

The Board of Selectmen recently rejected a request for restaurant hours to be extended on New Year's Eve. Great American Tavern wanted to stay open until 2 a.m. instead of 1 a.m.

According to the Police Department, extending the hours of alcohol sales could lead to additional alcohol-related incidents. Great American Tavern will have their last call at 12:40 p.m., but wanted to offer customers an extra hour to order drinks.
