The Reading High School boys basketball team's stay in the North Division 2 postseason was a short one. But for the Rockets, it was mission accomplished in proving they belonged in the bracket.

New Mission, the No. 8 seed in the tournament, snuck past No. 9 Reading by a 60-57 margin in the teams' preliminary round.

Following the loss, the Rockets' campaign came to a close with a record of 12-7. The team graduates five seniors from this year's squad.

Congratulations to the Rockets. Although the score does not indicate a victory, our Rockets were victorious. They took a team that is favored to win the D-2 title to the final shot of the game. They never gave up and left all they had on the floor. Truly an inspiration to the community of Reading.

Thanks Fellas!
