It was a busy weekend at Morton Memorial Field this weekend as the RMHS Rockets took on three opponents in two days. With good weather overhead, the Rockets took on Northhampton High School who came in for the day to play against Reading and St. Peter Marian in the First Annual Reading Baseball Alumni Tournament. Reading defeated Northhampton 5-0.

On Monday the weather held out and Reading split the day. In their first outing against St. Peter Marian, Reading went down 5-1.  Reading took a short break, shook off the loss and came out at 4 p.m. against Arlington, a Middlesex League opponent. Reading defeated Arlington 2-1 in a fairly quick, 87 minute outing.

Reading awaits their MIAA Tournament seeding and is expecting to play on May 31st or June 1st.  MIAA Tournament brackets can be found online.
