RMLD Power Update

RMLD is working on the power outages in both Reading and North Reading.

Residents in both Reading and North Reading experienced power outages yesterday due to the storm. According to Reading Municipal Light Department Engineering and Operations Manager Kevin Sullivan the morning daylight will increase power restoration efforts. RMLD crews are in both Reading and North Reading today.

"Customers should be aware that in some cases, the power may be out for several days," Sullivan said in the update.

Contact RMLD with any questions at 781 944-1340.

Pearl Street in North Reading is also without power, and has two trees down.

We lost power for about an hour total, but once again, the locally owned RMLD holds up well in a storm. So glad to buy our electricity from them rather than one of the big, faceless companies.
