Scott Brown Will Not Run for U.S. Senate
Who do you think should be the Republican candidate?
Scott Brown ended speculation Friday afternoon as to whether he would run for U.S. Senate, announcing that he is not entering the race for the seat left vacant by John Kerry’s confirmation to the post of Secretary of State.
Two Democratic political opponents – Congressman Stephen Lynch (D-South Boston) and Congressman Edward Markey (D-Malden) – will face off in the April 30 primary with the special election set for June 25. There are currently no Republican candidates in the race.
Markey, who represents the 5th Congressional District, kicked off his campaign in December. Lynch launched his bid with a formal announcement Thursday afternoon. Lynch represents the 8th Congressional District.
With Brown out of the running, what Republican would you like to see run for the seat? Leave your thoughts in the comment field below.

Given that Barry thinks that he will never hear the name Scott Brown again, I'm going to guess that this is Barry from Mars.

Wow.....
OK....If a dedicated Massachusetts businessman and gay representative and legislator can't win against a phony who hasn't authored one piece of legislation in 16 years....6th district fill in the blanks, why would anyone run against the Massachusetts democratic machine....Again?
Only Barbara Anderson has the intelligence and conviction....but not the stupidity to run for office.
Markey...Lynch?? WTF....with all due respect.
Does anyone know anybody not currently sucking off the government tit that would run for federal office in Massachusetts?
I respect Scott Brown for his service to this State and this nation...there is no reason that he needs to fall on the sword once again. Why shouldn't he finally get to spend some quality time with his family?
It is a shame that he didn't serve long long enough to become tenured like every other elected democrat legislator from Massachusetts. Nice pension!!!
The takers now out number the makers. I guess as a community we either ride this crap out or move to Texas, sinc NH is no longer a safe haven for those with individual liberty in mind.

I do not blame him one bit after the MOONBATS in this state elected "Lieawatha" Warren. Give me a break she is now our senior senator. What a joke she is. She sure dropped the Indian lie as soon as she got in there.

Yeah, too bad! Any state (district) that would elect Warren and reelect Tierney deserves what they get. Liars and thieves!

Hey Joe, MOONBATS??? So the overwhelming majority of our fine Commonwealth are MOONBATS , oh well, go back to listening to Howie and stay frustrated. Sorry that the majority of the voters aren't as enlightened as you claim to be. It's no wonder that you continue to come onto this blog and spew your lies, just ask Peter Simm. It's very sad when folks like yourself forget where they came from, very sad indeed......hypocrite

Joe uses Carr's moonbat slur because he has never had an original thought in his life. Even the Republicans are abandoning Brown now that he refuses to run again. Can't blame him for not wanting to be involved with that hypocrtical, bunch of racist haters.
