Several Items Reported Missing from Bear Hill Road Home

The following is an excerpt from the Reading Police Department log from Friday through Thursday. The information is open to the public.

Monday, Feb. 25

  • At 7:17 a.m., a caller reported a car accident on Main Street. The injuries were unknown.
  • At 1:16 p.m., a Washington Street resident reported that his neighbor was yelling profanities at him.

Tuesday, Feb. 26

  • At 10:55 a.m., a Bear Hill Road resident reported that several items were missing from his home. 

Wednesday, Feb. 27

  • At 12:47 a.m., a caller reported that her car was hit while parked on Main Street. 
  • At 10 a.m., the owner of the Chocolate Truffle reported that the fence was damaged overnight.
  • At 2:35 p.m., a Walgreens employee reported that youths were throwing gallons of milk inside the store. Police stood by while the youths cleaned up the mess they made. The manager was satisfied with the cleanup. The youths' parents were notified.
  • At 6:29 p.m., a caller reported a car accident on Main Street. The injuries were unknown. Two cars were towed from the scene.

Thursday, Feb. 28

  • At 1:28 p.m., a Highland Street resident reported that her neighbor's television was too loud. The neighbor turned down her television.
  • At 2:35 p.m., a caller reported a car accident on Main Street. The injuries were unknown.
  • At 3:47 p.m., a caller reported a car accident on Salem Street. No injuries were reported.
  • At 4:16 p.m., a caller reported that her car was hit while parked on Harnden Street.
  • At 7:31 p.m., a caller reported a car accident on Main Street. No injuries were reported.
