Severe Weather Outlook Issued for Reading and North Reading
The National Weather Service has issued a Tornado Watch for Middlesex County. Thunderstorms and damaging winds are expected Friday afternoon into Friday evening.
A hazardous weather outlook has been issued for Reading and North Reading and surrounding communities, including a tornado watch for Middlesex County until 9 p.m. Friday evening.
The National Weather Service (NWS) reported showers and thunderstorms will be rolling in Friday afternoon and evening.
"Thunderstorms may contain very heavy downpours and cause localized street flooding. Some of the thunderstorms may also contain storm wind gusts," NWS reported.
Some storms may be severe with damaging winds, according to NWS.
