Six teens, including a North Reading teen, were arrested early Monday evening, after attempting to break into the Stop & Shop Gas station on Route 1 in Danvers to steal cigarettes, Sgt. Robert Bettencourt told the Salem News.
At 12:28 a.m., police arrested Michael Maielle, 17, of 52 Frederick Rd. in Dracut, Zachary Hall, 17, of 6 Colonial Road in Beverly, and Dylan T. Wing, 18, of 349 Haverhill St. in North Reading.
The three other teens arrested were minors, coming from Brookfield, Franklin, and Norwood, according to the Salem News.
Bettencourt told the Salem News that the teens disabled the window alarm of an adolescent residential treatment center off Middleton Road, fleed the center, and tried to break into the gas station.
