Terrence Kennedy won the Governor's Council Democratic primary for the 6th district with a win over challenger Francis Flaherty Thursday night. The 6th district includes Reading.
Here are the unofficial results:

| Francis Flaherty | 9,786 | 34% |
Kennedy does not have a Republican challenger on the ballot in the general election this November.
