Welcome back, Patch Blogger!

This Week in Social Media

The last day of school and John Norton night had North Reading talking.

Here at North Reading Patch, social media is a big deal. It's how we interact with you, answer your questions and get to see what's on your mind. Social Media Saturday is a weekly feature where we highlight your questions and thoughts you've shared on Facebook and other media throughout the past week. We'll also point you to some new and interesting pages you may not have known about before.

Overheard

Here is a sampling of comments and happenings on our Facebook page and the social media world from the past week:

  • When asked to choose your favorite summer activity, three people chose sitting in the sun at Ipswich River Park, one of you chose to visit family, and one of you preferred boating on Martins Pond. Eating ice cream at Scoopz and playing outdoor sports both received one vote each.
  • North Reading was excited about John Norton night at the Horseshoe Grille. Annette Burns-Latsha said, "Was amazing and what a great turnout."
  • School is out for the summer! Melissa Bellavance said, "Big congrats to Katie Lonsdale!! We will miss driving you home next year! Good luck in middle school."
