VIDEO: Selectmen Forum at RCTV
Karen Gately Herrick and John Arena squared off at the RCTV Studios on Main Street.
The Reading-North Reading Chamber of Commerce hosted a candidates forum on Tuesday night at the RCTV Studios on Main Street.
Featuring Board of Selectmen candidates John Arena and Karen Gately Herrick, the forum offered Reading residents the chance to hear what the candidates think about some of the pressing issues facing the town as well as have some of their own questions answered.
As some of the town’s highest elected officials, selectmen make decisions that can impact the lives of all residents, and that being said, Reading Patch would like to give anyone who may have missed the forum a chance to catch up.
With the 2012 local election just a few short weeks away, we’d also like to know what you thought of the candidates’ performances.

This was a good event and I thank both candidates for having the courage to put themselves out there and run for the position. I hope everyone will take the time to view this forum in its entirety. It does a good job of showing the similarities and differences between the two candidates.
