Hundreds of people headed to Comically Speaking Saturday to get their free comic book—courtesy of National Free Comic Book Day.

Owner of Comically Speaking, Patrick Jamal, said that he gave away close to 500 comic books during the day.

Writer, artist, and teacher Tyler James was also at the store to promote and sell his new graphic novel. Prints of his original artwork were also on sale.
