Anything that is reasonable, will provide jobs AND take up that gigantic vacant space once known as Super Stop & Shop. I still hate the relocated store and usually head to Reading now.....

I would love to see a new Lowe's open up in the old Stop and Shop. They aren't going to sell or lease to Market Basket or anyone else in same business. Market Basket beats them by 25% in a normal shopping. As it is they are trying to shut down the Reading MB. I hate Home Depot's Veterans new discount policy whereas if your a Vet in Lowe's you Get. The 10% that is. In HD you have to be Disabled, active duty or retired.

North Reading really could use a frozen yogurt place, a cupcake cake shop and a YMCA', then we can rename ourselves Reading!!!

I would really like to see Friendly's. Good old fashion ice cream with the family. Not some fancy shmancy restaurant.

Ocean State Job Lot any where in town. How foolish of me to suggest that. I forgot the do-gooders would rather see an empty store for years rather than let them in town.

A KFC where Wendy's is now, demolish the closed Stop&Shop. and replace it with a new Starlite drive in. For those who want BIG BOX stores then feel free to move if you don't like here, there are plenty of realtors in town willing to sell your McMansions.

Someone should call Wegman's about moving in to the old S&S site. Trader Joes would be fine, too.

Cathy, I and others contacted Wegman's after the S&S move. They appreciated the interest, but have no plans for new stores in the area except the one they are building in Burlington.

I want some Mexican food in Reading. Can be take-out. Like Anna's Taqueria or Boca Grande.
