Where to Celebrate St. Patrick's Day Locally

Here are some places to celebrate St. Patrick's Day.

St. Patrick's Day is here again. Get your green outfits and appetites ready to celebrate! Here are some places to celebrate locally:

Grumpy Doyle’s—Reading

  • Grumpy Doyle's will open at 11 a.m. on St. Patrick's Day and a traditional Irish band will play from noon to 4 p.m. followed by a bagpiper. Traditional Irish food will be served, including corned beef and cabbage, Irish beef stew and more.

Horseshoe Grille--North Reading

  • Celebrate at the Horseshoe with a corned beef and cabbage dinner, which is also available in kids size, or corned beef sandwich.

Great American Tavern--North Reading

  • Stop by the Great American Tavern at anytime this weekend for Irish appetizers or dinners. The eatery will be serving Irish stew and a St. Patrick's Day Reuben stack, corned beef and cabbage, a Grilled Reuben sandwich and a Shepherds Pie twice baked potato. They will also have green beer throughout the weekend and live music by the band Brandy on Friday night.

Harrington's—Wakefield

  • This Irish Pub will have traditional Irish food and live music all day.

Did Grumpy Doyle's actually pay to have this picture on the story line? Because if they didn't, that really doesn't seem very fair to other businesses. Can we get a ruling on this?
