Rumors and speculation regarding scenes for the new Adam Sandler movie "Grownups 2" being filmed in Tewksbury were confirmed this week.

The production crew will be filming at the Tewksbury KMart at least one day (May 23) next week and possibly more. It's unclear, at this time, which of the cast members will be in Tewksbury for the shoot.

What is clear is that your child might have the chance to appear in the movie.

The following casting announcement was published recently by Sande Alessi Casting of Boston.

"CASTING NOTICE: Grown Ups 2 -- Shoots Wednesday, May 23, 2012 in Tewksbury, MA. 

REDHEAD KIDS: PLEASE DO NOT SUBMIT IF YOU CAME TO OPEN CALL. WE HAVE ALREADY PULLED EVERY REDHEAD IN THIS AGE GROUP FROM THE FILES. Boys or girls, age 2-10. MUST be true redheads with bright red hair. VERY VERY featured scene. Rate: 175/ 8. In addition to Adam Sandler, "Grownups 2" stars Taylor Lautner, Chris Rock, Kevin James, David Spade, Rob Schneider, Maya Rudolph and Salma Hayak.
