Dead serious -- is that Southie Rules thing really on television? What a travesty. Just when you think TV can’t sink any lower it surprises you.

Wicked Serious – Has talk radio really sunk this low? A radical, nutjob, right wing Boston talk show host this morning was playing clips of Chris Rock talking about President Obama and using them as evidence that Obama is a fascist and is acting as a dictator. Um, he’s a comedian. Who cares what he says? The host later was talking about women swearing, drinking beer out of bottles in bars and smoking, and claiming this is a clear indicator of the decay of American society.

Seriously – Did Jim Nabors once really release an album of contemporary songs, and why? His voice was great for epic songs such as “The Impossible Dream” or the “Battle Hymn of the Republic,” but everything he sang sounded so serious. Super Serious – People really go out in the cold, stand around, and watch a tractor trailer truck full of equipment drive off to Florida? And of course, the Red Sox turn it into a marketing and sales event.

Is this serious? – Scott “middle-of-the-road” Brown is in talks to become a commentator on Faux News? Money can’t buy you love, but it looks like it can make Scott Brown carry the right wing’s water. More power to him though if he can make some big time bucks as a result of his 2-year U.S. Senate stint.

I’m not kidding – we really do see baby pigeons, but we just don’t know it. It seems that once they leave the nest and start to walk around and fly, they often are already bigger than their parents because they have been fed regularly and have gotten no exercise.
